The European Union-funded project "Support to Basic and Upper Secondary Education" (KosEd) successfully concluded last week, showcasing significant strides in enhancing the capacities of teachers throughout Kosovo.
The ceremony began in the Municipality of Gjilan and, in collaboration with the Pedagogical Institute of Kosovo, continued with certification ceremonies in Drenas and Suhareka. These events celebrated the achievements of teachers who successfully completed the training program “Capacity Building of Teachers for the Review and Improvement of School Textbooks.”
This week, KosEd will carry on the certification ceremonies in additional municipalities, aiming to conclude the process by October 25th.
KosEd extends heartfelt gratitude to all participating teachers and municipalities for their unwavering dedication and commitment to advancing education quality in Kosovo.
The “Capacity Building of Teachers for the Review and Improvement of School Textbooks” program, approved by the State Council for Licensing under the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MASHTI), trained approximately 140 educators across seven municipalities. The program offered a comprehensive 48-hours, combining theoretical training and practical activities essential for certification.
This impactful initiative, supported by MASHTI, Municipal Education Directorates (DKA), EU-KosEd, and the Pedagogical Institute of Kosovo, demonstrates the collaborative commitment to fostering educational excellence in Kosovo.
