The European Union Project "Support to Basic and Upper Secondary Education" – KosEd, in collaboration with the Pedagogical Institute of Kosovo, following the certification of approximately 300 teachers across 14 municipalities in Kosovo, has continued with the Training of Trainers for the development of the program "Capacity Building of Teachers for the Review and Improvement of School Textbooks."
Today's training aims to advance trainers in leading training programs for teachers, improving the content of the program and materials with examples from various curricular fields, as well as aligning training leadership standards based on past experiences and best international practices.
The "Capacity Building of Teachers for the Review and Improvement of School Textbooks" training program is officially approved by the State Council for Teacher Licensing and is implemented in partnership with Municipal Education Directorates, the Pedagogical Institute of Kosovo, and the KosEd project.
Last year, KosEd and the Pedagogical Institute of Kosovo, during the first phase of the training, certified 300 teachers across 14 municipalities in 7 regions of Kosovo, directly contributing to enhancing their capacities.
This process marks a significant step toward improving the quality of school textbooks and increasing teacher involvement in the decision-making process regarding educational materials.
